Kristin Dickens first considered a career in catering after graduation from San Jose State University with a degree in Business Marketing. She decided to cater “just for the summer” following graduation and 30 years later The Party Helpers is one of the leading caterers in Silicon Valley. Kristin launched The Party Helpers with her ability to generate sales, create a marketing plan and decorate while learning about recipes, menus and portions (all the early parties had an abundance of leftovers)! The Party Helpers soon became synonymous with excellence in the field of Catering and Event Planning. With her attention to detail and organization, Kristin has always embraced the belief that every catered affair, no matter what size or budget, is an important one. Even after 30 years, Kristin still caters to her original clients and now to their children as well!
 
The Party Helpers has seen many clients through all of life’s milestones; from christenings, to graduation parties, weddings, baby showers and funeral gatherings. The mission statement defining The Party Helpers has always been personal, professional catering. Kristin and her staff understand that with this goal must come a deep sense of commitment to excellence, coupled with a sincere effort to consistently go beyond the client’s expectations.

HILARY RODONI, General Manager

 
Hilary Rodoni began with The Party Helpers in 1994 as head of accounting. She quickly demonstrated a commanding business sense and moved into the position of General Manager, overseeing the company and lending insight to everyday operations and long term goals.

Hilary does, however wear many hats. You may find her planning a party or doing a site inspection right along with the event coordinators. Her engaging personality and infectious laugh endear her to clients in a very special way. Hilary receives many repeat requests due to her event planning expertise and customer service.

Hilary commits her professional self to innovative growth and development of the company. She frequently brainstorms with other well-known caterers throughout the U.S. With Hilary as the General Manager, The Party Helpers continues to be one of the busiest caterers in Silicon Valley. Reliable excellence keeps clients coming back for more.

BARBARA PRADO, Head Chef
 
The Party Helpers struck gold when chef Barbara Prado joined their staff in 1997. She is a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Academy of San Francisco and brings an impressive catering resume to the table. Barbara understands food in the way a concert pianist understands music. Each element of meal preparation is attended to with such precision and care that the end result is nothing short of divine. In the catering business, this is no easy task.
 
Whether preparing for three or three hundred, Barbara directs her kitchen and staff in such a way that no detail of exquisite preparation is left undone. At each event, Barbara wants each diner to feel as though the meal was created just for him. In order to hone her culinary breadth, she participates in the continuing education for Professional Chefs at Greystone in St. Helena, where ethnic diversity in food is celebrated. Barbara orchestrates the preparation of a meal with an intrinsic knowledge of just how a flavors and spice come together to make a fabulous dining experience.
