Elegant western theme. Unique decorations. Fancy food. The Party Helpers just designed, coordinated, and catered perhaps its most unique bridal shower for Ashley Goesling who will be married in Idaho in July. Yes, during Covid and with all safety precautions this small shower with 20 guests was every bride’s dream.
The Theme: Boots & Bubbly
The Idaho wedding will have a western motif, so we created this theme to go along with the wedding but with a touch of elegance. We found cowboy hats with bridal lace and used these as the primary decorations in an outdoor setting around a woodsy patio. And of course, beautiful white boots were a decoration centerpiece as well. Festive theme drinks started the shower off right with a festive feel and set the tone for the rest of the event. included a pink lemonade margarita and lots of bubbly options: prosecco, champagne, rose’ champagne and a mimosa bar.
The multi-course menu was tailored to the brides taste and the theme, and was both delicious and beautiful:
First Course: Tropical; coleslaw with purple cabbage, grated carrots, grilled corn, pineapple and ginger, soy, lime vinaigrette. Golden brown coconut prawns topped the coleslaw deliciously.
Second Course: Mango Chicken with wild rice and grilled julienne vegetable bundles with a lovely leek ribbon.
Dessert: Authentic Gelato in vintage tea cups; Oreo cookies and cream gelato with unique topping choices and a cookie on top.
And the favors? Bubbly of course; mini bottles of bubbly rose’ champagne!
