Double 60th? 120% Beautiful

Writer's picture: Ken DickensKen Dickens

A double 60th party is super special. In our 44 years, we have never had one, but here you go. Never say never.

The party had a classic vintage theme with French accents. 7th Heaven Party Rental did vignettes of vintage couches, pillows, chairs and tables and Danny Thomas Party Rentals provided beautiful black rose toile linens. Bloomster’s Florists finished off the mood with florals including Peonies from a special vintage flower farm in Fremont.

Guests mingled with theme cocktails including classic 60’s Dirty Martini’s and Old Fashions, and passed hors d’oeuvres: lobster beignet, wild mushroom vol au vent, and brie wellingtons.

The menu was a Spring buffet which included:

Filet tenderloin carved on site with dijon peppercorn sauce and horseradish

Grilled balsamic salmon with lotus root chip garnish

Risotto bar with toppings-shaved parmesan, ratatouille, chives and pine nuts

Striking spring salad in coupe glasses with oranges, fresh berries, herbed goat cheese and champagne vinaigrette

Grilled spring vegetables with asparagus and snap peas

Rather than talk too much more about it, see for yourself in our new photo gallery below!
