Mocktails Baby: We've Got Your Recipe

Make any holiday event more memorable and more fun with Mocktails. They are all the rage right now. Here are recipies for a few that are easy to make yourself. And yes, you can add Vodka or your favorite liquor and make Coctails too. Happy Holidays. Enjoy!


Recipe for Rudolph’s Red Nose Spritzer

  • Ingredients: Cranberry juice, sparkling water, a splash of lime juice, and a sprig of rosemary for garnish.

  • Description: A tart and refreshing red drink topped with a festive rosemary “antler.”

  • Presentation Tip: Serve in clear glasses with sugared rims and a single cranberry floating as Rudolph’s nose.

Ingredients Detail:

  • 3 oz cranberry juice

  • 3 oz sparkling water

  • 1/2 oz lime juice

  • 1 sprig of rosemary

  • 1 cranberry for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Rim a clear glass with sugar.

  2. Fill the glass halfway with cranberry juice.

  3. Add lime juice and top with sparkling water.

  4. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and a cranberry.

  5. Serve chilled.



Recipe for Frosty’s Winter Wonderland

  • Ingredients: Coconut milk, vanilla syrup, nutmeg, crushed ice, whipped cream, edible silver glitter.

  • Description: This mocktail looks like a frosty dream in a glass. It is a creamy snow-white color, topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream. Edible silver glitter adds a magical sparkle, and the frothy layers mimic the softness of freshly fallen snow. A subtle dash of nutmeg sprinkled on top enhances the visual and flavor appeal.

  • Presentation Tip: Serve in clear glass mug with plenty of whipped cream and glitter.

Ingredients Detail:

  • 3 oz coconut milk (chilled)

  • 1 oz vanilla syrup

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg

  • Crushed ice

  • Whipped cream (for topping)

  • Edible silver glitter (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Fill a glass mug halfway with crushed ice.

  2. Pour in the coconut milk and vanilla syrup, stirring gently.

  3. Sprinkle a dash of nutmeg on top for flavor.

  4. Add a swirl of whipped cream to the top.

  5. For a festive touch, sprinkle with edible silver glitter.

  6. Serve chilled with a decorative straw or candy cane stirrer.



Recipe for Jingle Juice Fizz

  • Ingredients: Pomegranate juice, orange juice, ginger ale, and a dash of grenadine.

  • Description: A bubbly, fruity concoction that jingles with holiday cheer.

  • Presentation Tip: Garnish with a slice of orange and a sprig of mint for a pop of holiday color.

Ingredients Details:

  • 2 oz pomegranate juice

  • 2 oz orange juice

  • 3 oz ginger ale

  • Dash of grenadine

  • Pomegranate arils, orange slice, and mint sprig for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Fill a clear glass with ice cubes.

  2. Pour in the pomegranate juice and orange juice.

  3. Add a splash of grenadine for a layered effect.

  4. Top with ginger ale to add fizz.

  5. Garnish with pomegranate arils, a slice of orange, and a fresh mint sprig.

  6. Serve immediately with a straw or festive stirrer.



Recipe for Candy Cane Cooler

  • Ingredients: Peppermint tea (chilled), sparkling water, and a drizzle of honey.

  • Description: A refreshing peppermint-flavored mocktail perfect for candy cane lovers.

  • Presentation Tip: Serve in tall glasses with crushed candy cane rims and a mini candy cane stirrer.

Ingredients Details:

  • 4 oz chilled peppermint tea

  • 3 oz sparkling water

  • 1 tsp honey (optional)

  • Crushed candy canes for rim

  • Mini candy cane for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Chill peppermint tea in the refrigerator for at least an hour.

  2. Crush candy canes and rim the glass with them by first dipping the rim in honey or water.

  3. Fill the glass with ice cubes.

  4. Pour in the chilled peppermint tea and top with sparkling water. Stir gently.

  5. Add a mini candy cane as a stirrer.

  6. Serve chilled for a refreshing holiday treat.



Recipe for Santa’s Spiced Cider

  • Ingredients: Apple cider, cinnamon, cloves, and a splash of orange juice.

  • Description: A warm and comforting drink with the classic flavors of Christmas spices.

  • Presentation Tip: Serve warm in mugs with a cinnamon stick for stirring and an orange wheel for garnish.

Ingredients Details:

  • 1 cup apple cider

  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • 1 cinnamon stick

  • 2-3 cloves

  • Orange slice and cinnamon stick for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine apple cider, orange juice, cinnamon stick, and cloves.

  2. Heat the mixture over low heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.

  3. Strain into a glass mug, removing the cloves and cinnamon stick.

  4. Garnish with a fresh orange slice and a cinnamon stick.

  5. Serve warm for a cozy holiday delight.
